Subscription
The Sunshine Letters are available as:
Monthly subscription
6 month subscription
12 month subscription
6 month gift subscription
12 month gift subscription
Subscriptions are charged in advance according to the plan selected.
Renewals
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
6 month subscriptions renew automatically every 6 months unless cancelled before the renewal date.
12 month subscriptions renew automatically every 12 months unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Gift subscriptions are a one off purchase and do not renew automatically.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
Monthly subscriptions: If you cancel, no further payments will be taken. You will continue to receive any Sunshine Letters you have already paid for.
6 month and 12 month subscriptions: If you cancel during your subscription term, your subscription will remain active until the end of the period you have already paid for. It will then end and will not renew.
As 6 month and 12 month subscriptions are paid in advance, refunds cannot be given for any unused portion of the subscription.
Gift subscriptions cannot be cancelled or refunded once purchased, except where required by law. They will end automatically after the 6 or 12 month gift period.
Failed Payments
If a recurring payment cannot be processed, we may pause or cancel your subscription until payment has been successfully received.
Right to Refuse or Cancel
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a subscription in exceptional circumstances, including suspected fraud or misuse of our service. If this happens after payment has been taken, a full refund for any unfulfilled part of the subscription will be provided.
FAQs
When will I get my letter?
We send out The Sunshine Letters on the 15th of every month. UK members typically receive it within 3-7 days of sending. If you sign up before the 15th of the month, you’ll receive that month’s letter. If you sign up on or after the 15th, your first letter will arrive the following month.
What if I need to cancel or change my address/billing info?
Email us at [email protected] and we will end your subscription or change your address. Make sure to email us before the 15th of the month so we can adjust your address, update your payment or subscription before sending!
What happens if I don’t receive my letter?
Sometimes the mail can take up to 2 weeks to arrive. If your Sunshine Letter doesn’t arrive, email us [email protected] and we’ll make it right, either by resending your letter or refunding you for the month. Please review your receipt to confirm your address is correct as that is often the culprit!
The beauty of snail mail is the slow pace and anticipation of every month, however, sometimes the post does get delayed and even lost. If you have not received your letter by the end of the month (UK), please reach out and we can work out sending you a replacement!
Who are The Sunshine Letters for?
The Sunshine Letters are for anyone who would like a little more connection, creativity and joy in their month. Most of our subscribers are adults looking for something meaningful and screen free to look forward to, but there's no age limit on receiving a little sunshine through the letterbox. The Sunshine Letters make the perfect gift!
Do you deliver outside of the UK?
We do not currently deliver outside of the UK. But watch this space as we will be expanding globally very soon
